      So far, most of them are go as planned. But because the whole research process involves lots of steps (including looking for the appropriate species to study a question, to design an experiment, to data collection, data storage and management and report writing etc), failure could happen in any of these steps. So it is always good to have a back-up plan or having the ‘what-if’ this bit goes wrong mindset…
